We understand the frustration you're going through right now.
CartOS exists partly because our founder had a Shopify store and payment processing canceled without warning. One day everything was fine, the next day the store was gone. No real explanation, no appeal process that went anywhere, just years of work suddenly inaccessible. It's a terrible feeling—we've been there.
If this just happened to you, take a breath. We're going to help you get back online.
Get in touch now
Use the contact form at cart-os.com/contact and include your phone number. One of our support staff will make it a priority to reach out and get you up and running as quickly as possible.
This isn't a sales pitch—we genuinely want to help because we know how much this sucks. You need your business back online, and we have the experience to make that happen fast.
What we'll help with
Site migration
If you have backups of your Shopify data—product exports, customer lists, order history—we'll help you get everything imported into CartOS. Products, images, variants, customers, the works. If you were able to export your theme or have custom design assets, we can work with those too.
Please have backups. If you still have any access to your Shopify admin, export everything you can right now—products, customers, orders, theme files. If you've already lost access, we'll work with whatever you have.
Domain transfer or acquisition
If your domain is stuck with Shopify or you need to acquire a new one, we'll walk you through the process. Getting your domain pointed to your new CartOS store is straightforward, and we'll make sure there's minimal downtime.
If you need a fresh start with a new domain, we can help with that too—CartOS Domains lets you register and manage domains directly from your admin.
Payment processing
If Shopify Payments cut you off, you need a new way to accept payments. CartOS works with multiple payment processors—Stripe, PayPal, Authorize.net, and others. We'll help you figure out which option makes sense for your business and get it connected.
Some processors are more lenient than others depending on your industry. We've helped merchants in various situations find processing solutions that work.
Getting back online fast
Every day your store is down costs you money and customer trust. We prioritize terminated merchants because we understand the urgency. Our goal is to get you operational as quickly as possible—not next week, not in a few days, but as soon as we can make it happen.
Why this happens
Shopify terminates stores for various reasons—sometimes it's a clear policy violation, sometimes it's an algorithmic decision that doesn't make sense, and sometimes merchants never get a real answer. Their platform, their rules.
We're not here to judge why it happened. We're here to help you move forward.
Why CartOS is different
We're a smaller company that actually talks to our merchants. If there's ever an issue with your account, you'll hear from a real person who explains what's going on and works with you to resolve it. We don't do surprise terminations without explanation.
CartOS also doesn't lock you into our payment processing. You choose your processor, you own that relationship. If you ever decide to leave CartOS, your payment processing stays with you.
What to do right now
- Export any data you still can – If you have any remaining access to Shopify, download everything immediately: product CSVs, customer exports, order history, theme files, images.
- Contact us – Fill out the form at cart-os.com/contact with your phone number. Tell us briefly what happened and what you need.
- Gather your assets – Collect any backups, design files, product photos, or other materials you have saved locally.
- Check your domain – Figure out where your domain is registered. If it's through Shopify, you'll need to transfer it out.
We've been through this before—it sucks, but we'll make it a little less painful for you.
